Thank you for purchasing products on our website www.usegenie.ai ("Product") by AppNation ("AppNation" or "Company").
AppNation offers you a refund right for purchases made directly on our website www.usegenie.ai ("Website"), if you are not satisfied with the Product, provided the conditions set forth in this Refund Policy are met, in addition to the mandatory refund rights granted by applicable laws.
I. SUBSCRIPTION
www.usegenie.ai ("Website") is provided by AppNation on a free basis. Once you start using the Website, you will have access to its basic features, including the browser version of the Genie App mobile app at www.usegenie.ai. Access to the unlimited features of Genie App requires a paid subscription. The full list of Genie App's features and pricing is provided on the Website. You can choose different subscription options. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary in countries other than the U.S. You will have all the necessary information about your subscription plan on the Website before the purchase. Your subscription will be automatically renewed 24 hours before the current subscription ends. Please see Section IV. CANCELLATION to understand how to cancel your subscription.
II. FREE TIER
You may have the opportunity to try free tier options during the first message request. To continue using the Website, you should select one of the paid subscriptions available on the Website.
III. PAYMENT METHODS
You can pay for your subscription via debit or credit card. Payments are processed through the Paddle payment system or via PayPal. Payment will be charged to the payment method provided at the time of purchase. You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fees to the payment method you have chosen.
IV. CANCELLATION
Canceling your subscription means that automatic renewal will be disabled, but you will still have access to all your subscription features for the remainder of your current period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscriptions.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled a free trial on the App Store: If you are eligible for a refund, you will need to request it directly from Apple. To request a refund, follow the instructions on the Apple support page.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled a free trial on Google Play: If you are eligible for a refund, you will need to request it directly from Google. To request a refund, follow the instructions on Google's support page.
If you purchased a subscription or enabled a free trial on our website: Subscriptions are managed by you. Please access your personal account on the Paddle Customer Portal to view and manage your subscription. The link will be shared with you in our email when your subscription is activated. You may cancel your subscription purchased on our Website by contacting us from the Support section of Genie. Alternatively, you can click the cancellation link in the confirmation email you received after completing the payment process. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Subscription fees are non-refundable.
V. REFUNDS
Please note that, generally, all purchases are considered final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds or credits for partially used periods, except as required by applicable laws in your jurisdiction and under certain criteria set by our company:
To qualify for a refund, customers must meet one of the following criteria:
Refund Requests Within 2 Days
Customers can request a refund within 2 days of purchase, as long as the request is submitted through our website and before the subscription period ends.
Refunds are considered based on product usage. While we can't guarantee approval, our Customer Experience team will carefully review each request and follow up with you.
Exceptions:
Beyond 2 Days: Any refund requests made more than 2 days after the purchase date are non-refundable.
Active Usage: Due to the significant server resources and costs associated with running the AI models that power our service, purchases made by actively engaged users (defined above) are non-refundable.
General Conditions: Payments are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable if the conditions of this Refund Policy are not met. Additionally, if an alternative refund option (e.g., a free trial) is offered at checkout, it will supersede this Refund Policy. Customers who select this option will not be eligible for refunds under this policy. Please review our Terms of Use for additional packages. Additional packages are bound to the user's main subscription package. If the main package subscription ends, additional packages will expire as well. Users must meet the main package refund criteria as explained above. Purchasable playbooks are non-refundable by nature and are for individual use only.
VI. CHARGEBACKS/DISPUTES
If, at any time, you initiate a chargeback or reverse any payment for applicable subscription fees, we may immediately disable or terminate your account at our sole discretion for breach of payment obligations. We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback, including providing the relevant financial institution with proof that the payment was authorized by the user responsible for the chargeback.
VII. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY
We reserve the right to modify, terminate, or amend our subscription plans at any time. You will be notified of any changes by posting updates on the Website or sending email notifications. If you do not wish to pay the new fees, you can cancel the applicable subscription before the changes take effect.
